We often feel that we are powerless in the grand scheme of life. Each of us is a tiny speck in this universe, it’s true. Can our experiences, our mistakes, our perspectives, and our truths really mean that much?
They absolutely can, and they do. If everyone decides individually that we have no power so we might as well do nothing, we’ll be in quite a sad state. The truth is that every step you take to heal yourself so that you can be a better, healthier, happier person also helps to restore joy to the world around you.
Your truth is powerful. Your journey matters. You don’t need one more reason to make yourself small, so don’t put limits on the potential impact of your unique gifts. You are here because you are supposed to be here. You do have something to contribute, even if you don’t know what that is yet. You are already adding your energy just because you’re alive. Now you can choose where you want it to go. If we hope to create a world where everyone feels safe to be themselves, we have to start with us. We have to be brave enough to bare our own souls, our own vulnerabilities, fears, and worries. By doing so, we demonstrate that we are a safe space for others to do the same. We create community and openness by standing up and showing ourselves. It can be scary, but the reward is beyond worth it. With your willingness to be authentic, you’ll find that you unblock energies inside yourself that you may not realize are stuck. You feel you can breathe into spaces that were previously unknown to you. You cultivate trust in yourself and the people around you. Revealing truths is a great way to see who is really part of your support circle and who is no longer in resonance.
Sharing your story might seem insignificant to you, but I assure you that it is not. If we can all open up a bit more, if we can show compassion to ourselves and others, this world becomes a happier and healthier place. We learn that there is much more that unites us than divides us, and this paves the way for better understanding. When we heal ourselves, we heal the world – but we have to be brave enough to begin.
I am so excited for you to feel the fulfilling joy that comes with sharing the truth and love that you are. You are doing great. I love you.
