What If You Devote Yourself To Doing Better?

The truth is, we can always do better.

By that I mean, we can always be better versions of ourselves. Better friends, kids, parents, teachers, partners. Better people for others. Better people for us. There is constant room for improvement. That’s not to say that you aren’t good enough – quite the opposite. In order to be better, we have to believe in ourselves. We have to have the confidence to know that there is infinite possibility within us.

Often, we just don’t try that hard. It’s comfortable to stay at the level that we are already living in. After all, we’re doing ok, right? We are decent people, doing our best. But are we, really? Are we doing our best?

Most of the time, probably not. We can definitely challenge ourselves more than we do. We can hold ourselves to a higher standard, not out of self-judgment, but self-love. We know that we can do and be so much more, so why not at least try? Think about how different the world could be if we all just decided to do a little better, each and every day.

This isn’t a crazy concept. It’s an example of how we can change the world as individuals, little by little. If we each devoted ourselves to doing better, if we each tried a bit harder, it could shift everything in a major way. It’s possible if we believe it to be so.

I believe in you and your ability to do better. I know that you are capable of constant change, growth and improvement. You got this. Sending you love.
