What If You Are Capable Of So Much More?

Look, I’m not trying to tell you that you need to be more productive. Our world values task completion to the point of ridiculousness. I don’t believe “productivity” is truly measured that way anyway. I believe that productivity is measured by how balanced, fulfilling and complete your life feels. It has nothing to do with, well, how much you do.

When I say you are capable of more, I am saying dream big. Truly, anything is possible. The only thing that limits you is yourself. I can already hear you making excuses as you read this, and I urge you to stop. Yes, that’s human nature, to tell yourself that you’ll never get what you want so why even try? That’s your brain being lazy, wanting to stay in the comfortable and familiar. It’s not the truth. The truth is, if you actually put our focus and attention into what you want, you can climb to unforeseen heights.

You might find it liberating to believe that anything is possible, but truthfully, most find it terrifying. If you give in to that reality, you have to hold yourself accountable for your actions. You have to admit that it’s you who is holding you back, not anything outside of yourself. That is a difficult truth to face.

I am promising you that you are capable of much more than you think. The trick is getting yourself to believe it, and then taking necessary action. And remember – sometimes that necessary action is rest. You need balance, and burnout is never the answer to your problems. Pushing yourself constantly, especially when you’re busting your ass for someone else’s benefit, isn’t it. Your creative and intuitive self needs rejuvenation and time to integrate. You thrive on balance!

You’ve got this. You are full of possibility, if you only believe it. Don’t dismiss your dreams. I promise that you can get wherever you want to be. Sending love, encouragement and support.
